First of all, I want to apologize from my heart for my late reaction, here. Secondly, I want to also express my heartfelt thank you to Larry and Irène for informing me immediately of Heinz's passing away in May 2014. Reason for my delay is basically my health situation as well as my relocation to my new home country in 2014.
I first me Heinz in 1988 while being a glider plane student at Dillingham Airfield in Northern Oahu. We soon became friends, and he also taught me things that no other flight instructor did, thanks to his passion and wide experience. From then on, we had contact until shortly of his passing away for which he was longing for due to his state of health etc. as he told me on one of the Skype sessions. Therefore, I wish from all of my soul that he arrived well on the other side and found what is right for his soul.
About soul as well as many other subjects, we had many discussions, quite interesting and challenging (in good ways, naturally). He was a very dear friend, and I am so grateful of all what he gave me in so many regards. He was of great help in many ways. Well, I guess that I should not got into detail(s) here too much.
I still often think of him, and when Otto was recently visiting here, we were talking about Heinz as well. Not the least to mention that I live here where I am now, because of one of the many suggestions by Heinz.
I'd like to add three pictures of the many Christmas Cards that Heinz did send me over the years.
Heinz, you'll have a very unique place in my heart forever. Blessings and thank you, again,
