Helen Keao‘opua Belen, 72, of Wai‘anae, Hawai‘i passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. She was born on August 10, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawai‘i to Harold Edwin Ulsh and Thelma Mauna Adolph. Helen was a homemaker.
She is survived by husband, Asiclo Belen; sons, Alonzo (Gina) Belen, Antonio Belen, Gabriel Belen, and Beau Belen; daughters, Lita (Ronald) Slate, Lisa Belen, Lina Belen, Lititia Belen, Chiquita Teo-Gibney, and Jennifer Belen; brothers, Keith Ulsh, Edwin Ulsh, and Colin (Anne) Hussey; sisters, Ku‘uipo Ulsh, Ku‘ulei Ulsh, and Colleen (Mark) Miyashiro; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, John Azevedo and brother-in-law, Raymond Pagan.
Visitation 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel; service to begin at 10:30 a.m.
Burial 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
