Helen Joe Young Lum's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Helen Joe Young Lum, 91, who passed away at her home in Kailua, Hawaii on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was born in San Francisco, California on October 6, 1924 to Ko Young and Sue Ping.
She was a retired Analyst for the Department of Defense, United States Army at Fort Shafter.
She was married to the late George “Honeyboy” Lum, who had preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sons, Anthony (Lei) Lum and Timothy (Ailyn) Lum; six grandchildren Sara, Christopher, Jason, Mitchell, Daniel and Marissa; her brother, Dr. William (Eva) Young and her sister, Ruby Chang.
Her celebration of life service will be held on April 18, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Kailua; public visitation at 5:30 p.m. and service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Family requests for No Flowers and that burial will be private.
