Helen Torricer's Obituary
HELEN MARIE NOBRIGA TORRICER, 92, of Honolulu left this earth peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father, surrounded by loved ones on November 18, 2025.
She was born on October 2, 1933, in Wailuku on the island of Maui, the daughter of Joseph and Constance Nobriga.
Helen graduated from St. Anthony School-Maui in1952. A retired nurse of Waimanalo Health Center providing diverse services for women, infants and children. She was also a Life Member and Master Trainer for Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi Outdoor Programs since 1968. She taught those around her the importance of leadership, generosity, grace, and compassion. An avid quilter, she found joy in creating custom quilts and gifting them to friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Stanley Torricer Sr., son Stanley, II (Josie), daughter Liane Torricer-Adler (Scott). Grandchildren: Peter Neill III (Shyann), Jerusha Meyers, Jordan Torricer, Issac, Ethan & Nathaniel Adler. 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Eleanor Pojas (Roy), Connie Goo & Diane Hokamura and many loving nieces, nephews & friends. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Constance Nobriga, and siblings: David Nobriga, Robert Nobriga & Caroline Nobriga Caluya Andrade.
Her memory will live on in the countless hearts she touched – and in the love she gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life to honor her will be held at Kingʻs Chapel-Niu Valley 5740 Kalanianaʻole Hwy, with public visitation at 9AM and service to follow at 10AM. Interment at Valley of the Temple-Kāneʻohe at 2PM.
