Henry Marcus Carlos Rezentes' Obituary
Henry "Sonny" Marcus Carlos Rezentes, 73, passed away on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at his home in Hawaii Kai surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born on September 30, 1940 in Honolulu, HI to Henry and Ruth (Marquez) Rezentes.
Henry grew up in Honolulu, HI. He graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1958. After high school he joined the US Air Force, worked for Hawaiian Electric Co., rode for Ka Lio Hao Motorcycle Club, travelled, and enjoyed each day to the fullest.
Henry married Gertrude Nani (Mahi) in 1966 in Honolulu, HI and is survived by his children Marc, his wife Sandra (Kitagawa) Rezentes, grandson Kaelen Rezentes (age 13 yrs), daughter Marna (Rezentes) Yoshida, her husband Colin Yoshida, granddaughter Ashley Yoshida (age 3 yrs), daughter Marni Rezentes Ramirez, her husband Rock Ramirez, granddaughter Vengelina Ramirez (age 2 yrs), sister Movita Makua, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, October 6, 2014 (Monday). Visitation will be from 930 am to 1030 am. Service to held from 1035 am to 11 am. All pau by noon. A 21-gun salute will follow the service. Cremation and spreading of ashes to be held privately at Maunalua Bay in Hawaii Kai. A memorial plaque will be mounted at Punchbowl Memorial at a later date.
