Howard Y. Fukuda's Obituary
Howard Y. Fukuda, 91, of Honolulu passed away October 3, 2018 after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Honolulu to the late Mitsuharu and Hisayo (née Arase) Fukuda. Howard proudly served in the United States Army, and went on to become a Structural Engineer with SSFM International.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, one daughter Amy J. Harens, and one son Todd Y. Fukuda.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Ellen H. Fukuda, his children: Donn T. (Donna) Fukuda, Lester H. Fukuda, Ross I. (Rayna) Fukuda, and Janice H. Fukuda, two sisters: Rosaline Fukuda and Mary E. Fukuda, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10:30 AM with service at 11:30 AM on Thursday November 29, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel. Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery.
