Ingeborg Maria Hopkins' Obituary
Ingeborg Maria Hopkins, 84, of Kaneohe, widow of the late Wendell P. Hopkins, passed away February 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1931 in Vienna, Austria to parents Johan and Anna Badish, and was a retired cashier at the Windward Mall Liberty House Gazebo Restaurant. She was a ten-year volunteer at the Hospice Hawaii Kailua House, a recipient of their Volunteer of the Year Award, and co-founder of the Austrian Hawaiian Association.
She is survived by sons, Timothy B. Hopkins, Wendell P. "Butch" Hopkins, Jr., and Anthony K. "Mana" Hopkins, a daughter, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Family requests no flowers. Aloha attire is suggested.
