I remember one summer I went to stay with Grandmama and Tutuman. Every morning before I got up tutuman would have a papaya that he picked from the backyard already on the table ready for me to eat. We would sit at the table eating papaya and him reading the newspaper.
Then my chore would be smashing cans and raking the yard, which seemed so big at the time.
