Jack Koon Mung Sun's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Jack Koon Mung Sun, born on November 30, 1927 in Chungshan Village, Kwantung, China, where he loved until 1928. His parents were Wah Chong Soon and Wai Kin Young. He was the Youngest of four children. He attended Lanai School and Farrington High School and earned his diploma, after graduation he began his career as a Navy Yoeman. He retired after 20 years with Hawaiian Tel. He was married to Florence Pan Sun.
He served in the United States Army and United States Navy during the WWII and Koran War.
Jack was a very caring, generous, hardworking and loving man whom enjoyed drawing, painting, sports and listing to Blue Hawaii, all music from Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorset.
He is survived by wife, Florence Pang; son, Garryl Sun; brother, Herbert Sun; sister, Sally Sun Wong and Grace Sun Wong; 3 grandchildren.
