I worked as an undergraduate and graduate student in Dr. Holm-Kennedy's lab. It was the learning experience of a lifetime. He had connections at HP and with his recommendation I was hired there in 1984. His way of thinking has remained with me to this day. He was a great man.
I worked as a Physics undergraduate In the Holm-Kennedy Physical Electronics Lab in the 1978/79 era. He was a brilliant educator who knew the science and the industry. He encouraged his lab students to be curious and assertive, assigning us responsibilities that were broad and practical. He was friends with engineering manager Chuck DeHont of Intel. With Professor Holm-Kennedy's guidance I was hired by Intel in Livermore and went on to work in Intel's Portland Technology Development. I owe my career trajectory to him. Thank you. Rest in Peace.
