James Andrew Kirch's Obituary
James Andrew Kirch, a resident of Kailua, Oahu passed away on Saturday, May 14 at his residence he was 88 years old. Born to Wendell Kirch and Margaret Huckenstein in Plum, Pennsylvania on February 29, 1928. He was a brick layer and a mason in the local construction industry in Hawaii and was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by step-son, Stephen Doversola; step-daughter, Amanda Lau and brother, Wendell Kirch.
Services for Mr. Kirch will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at 10:30 a.m. Deacon Ernie Carlbom of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Kailua will be presiding over service. Burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Committal Shelter where Military Honors will be rendered at the start of service.
