James “Son” Yukio Yoshikawa Jr., 76, of Mililani, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Hilo Hospital in Hilo, Hawaii. Born on August 28, 1939 in Honolulu, Hawaii to James Yukio Yoshikawa Sr. and Rose Reis. He was a mason.
James was an outdoorsman where he truly had his heart at. His favorite things to do were riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing to name a few. He was a dominant man who was “always correct”.
He is survived by sons, James Y. Yoshikawa III, Bryan T. Yoshikawa, and Peter A. Yoshikawa; daughter, Donna Yoshikawa; brothers, Richard Yoshikawa and Michael Souza; sisters, Gertrude Lum and Bernadette Kopa; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
Visitation 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
