James Dennis Sutter, a humble and hardworking man with a heart full of kindness, passed away peacefully at his home in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 25th, 2025. Born on April 13th, 1946, in Aurora, Illinois, James lived a life filled with joy, generosity, and a deep passion for motorcycles.
He was a proud marine and a man of his word, whose honesty and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. James loved anything having to do with motorcycles, a passion that led him to a venture as the owner of Indian Motorcycles. His enthusiasm and dedication shone brightly in this endeavor, inspiring those around him.
James cherished the time spent with his "Hanai" kids, embracing them with love and affection as if they were his own. He was a beloved uncle to his nephews, Jesse Johnasen and Alex Velleses-Kaleikula, who will forever remember his wisdom and the joyful memories they shared.
His humble nature and generous spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. James’s life was a beautiful blend of hard work, honesty, and unwavering kindness.
As we celebrate the vibrant life of James Sutter, we remember the laughter, the adventures, and the love he shared with us all. His legacy of humility and generosity will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing him.
