Jim Widdoes and I shared some good times during our late teens. Not many know how accomplished both he and I became at pool (pocket billiards). I think war and college interfered with our potential as sport professionals. I thought his skill was more than I could achieve. I have missed him for a long time. His quick smile and friendly banter were always a pleasure. I will be looking for him when I pass through the veil.
