James "Jim" Joseph Ferguson's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of James “Jim” Joseph Ferguson, 85, of Honolulu; born April 8, 1931 in New York City, New York. His parents were James Ferguson and Ann James. A United States Navy Submarine Radio man, United States Navy retiree and a retired electrician and safety inspector with Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died at St. Francis Hospice West on September 4, 2013. He was an active member of St. Philomena Catholic Church and the Kunia Orchid Club. James was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor. He is survived by wife, Elizabeth “Liz” C. Ferguson; sons, James Joseph Ferguson III, Patrick (Nicole) Ferguson; daughters, Valle “Peaches” T. Baker, Regina Ferguson; step-sons, Lance (Andrea) Leong, Lester (Debra) Leong, Lesley Leong; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nephew and nieces.
His services will be on Monday, September 16, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m., service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Private committal service at a later date. Family requests no flowers and Aloha attire.
