Jan Karamehmedovic's Obituary
It is with extremely heavy hearts we inform you that our beloved son and brother, Jan Karamehmedovic, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2022. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by those who loved him most.
Jan was born on April 26, 1989, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spent his younger years in Slovenia and Canada until our final move to Hawaii in 2000. He graduated from Kaiser High School in 2007 and went to Europe where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media. He was a hard worker, very ambitious, and even started his own construction business. He was so intelligent, creative, talented, and kindhearted. He enjoyed painting, and fixing cars, he loved driving up and down Tantalus Drive and chilling at Sandy’s and Hanauma Bay Lookout. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved living in Hawaii and had many friends and was loved by so many.
Our hearts are broken forever.
He will be greatly missed especially by his mom Duska, dad Dean, brother Egon, grandma Silvija, auntie Diana, girlfriend Amber, and many other cousins and friends overseas.
We are blessed to have all the happy memories we shared with Jan. Until we meet again. We love you always and for all eternity. You will forever be in our hearts.
Rest in eternal peace and happiness son.
We love you.
