Jane Sumiko Fukunaga was born on April 7th, 1930, in Wailuku, Hawaii. She passed away on January 28th, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is survived by her sons Colin (Lurline) Fukunaga and Ray (Lori) Fukunaga, her grandchildren Alyssa Fukunaga, Jenna Fukunaga, David (Sophia) Fukunaga, and Kristi Fukunaga, her sister Harriet Takeuchi, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
