Janet Pearl Almeida, 89, entered Heaven on June 18, 2020.
Janet was born in Honolulu and raised in Kaimuki. She moved to Kailua with her husband Gerald to raise their family.
She is predeceased by her parents Philip and Flora Souza and her brothers Richard and Eddie Souza.

Janet met Gerald when she was 16 years old and when her time came to join God, her last breaths were taken with Gerald by her side, the same way she lived her life. Janet taught her sons and future generations the importance of love, family, forgiveness, and acceptance.
She radiated love with every action, even one as simple as a smile, up until her very last days.
The family would like to thank Jennifer Young and the employees of Navian for their great care in her final days.
Private services were held.
