Jason George Awaya's Obituary
Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary at Valley of the Temples is deeply saddened to announce the passing of the late Jason George Awaya.
Jason was born on August 27, 1993 in Santa Ana in California. He was the middle born of parents Dennis Awaya and Pheap Awaya. He has lived in Santa Ana in California, Makakilo and Aina Haina in Hawaii.
He has worked at the Boxcar Track, TCA Wireless, Firestone, and most recently as a Fire Alarm Technician for the Ohana Control Systems.
Jason is survived by his mother Pheap Awaya; sisters Karen Guillory (Shaun Guillory) and Sheryl Awaya. Jason is predeceased by his father Dennis Awaya.
His motto was inspired by his Dad to "Keep it simple." He was a practical type of person, some hobbies of his included: darts, golfing, landscaping, woodworking and raising fish. Just like his Dad, he loved dogs.
Jason’s family encourages guests to wear red or black in honor and memory of his favorite colors. They also encourage guests to bring umbrellas to provide shade during the inurnment.
Celebration of Life will be held on: Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Valley of the Temples- Makai Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00am-10:30am. Service at 10:30am-11:30am Lunch will begin at 11:30am-12:45pm. Inurnment to follow at 1:00 pm in Valley of the Temples- Memorial Park.
