Jason Takeo Hashimoto Jr.'s Obituary
Jason Takeo Hashimoto passed away peacefully on January 15, 2018 at the age of 76.
Jason was born on September 14, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended St. Patrick School and graduated from St. Louis College in 1959. Jason worked for Pan American Airlines as Reservations Supervisor and Aloha Airlines as Station Manager.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Ok Soon Pang (Hashimoto) and James Torai Hashimoto; siblings, Elnora Freitas and Irene Cadinha.
Jason is survived by his wife, Alexa; children, Janelle (Warner) Bayne, Jason Keola Hashimoto (Jim Valentine), Joell Hashimoto, Melissa (Jose) Miller, Celeste Ohta and Edwin S. K. Ohta; siblings, Carolyn Hashimoto, Susan (Brian) Lee, Glenn Hashimoto, Lori (Marshall) Hathcock; grandchildren, Jerin (Marie) Hashimoto, Donovan (Amber) Bayne, Dalton Hashimoto, Connor Bayne, Sloane Mato-Hashimoto, Victoria Miller, Joseph Miller; and great-grandchildren, Kia’i Hashimoto, Kamakana Hashimoto, Kekoa Hashimoto and Tristan Mateo.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Mystical Rose Oratory at Chaminade University. Family visitation: 2:30 p.m., Open public visitation: 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., with Mass to follow: 4:00 p.m.
