Jeanne Liu's Obituary
Jeanne Liu of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the age of 94. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Hilo, Hawaii. She was the founder of the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation Platinum Seniors and a long-time member of Lions Club of Honolulu. She had a full and vibrant life with family and friends.
Jeanne is survived by her children: Thomas Uno (Catherine), James Uno (Barbara), Susan Uno, Linda Uno, Timothy Liu (Sue Ann) and Helen "Maysie" Tam (John); grandchildren: Daniel Uno, Matthew Uno, Tyler Brain, Catherine Yago, Christopher Tam and Claire Tam; great-grandchildren: Keira Uno, Jace Uno, Lane Uno, Alexander Yago, Michael Yago and Jonathan Yago; and brother: Albert (Jane) Yazaki.
She is predeceased by Hideo Uno, Arthur E.O. Liu and companion Francis Y. Wong.
