Jerry Damaso Ramento's Obituary
Jerry Damaso Ramento, beloved father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away May 17, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center. Born in Laoag City, Philippines to parents Edward Kaanaana Ramento and Luciana Ulep Damaso Ramento, Jerry worked at many jobs, including waiter at the Elks Club and Outrigger Canoe Club, a salmon fisherman in Alaska and a mechanic in Hawaii.
He is survived by daughter, Mireya Garcia; sisters, Elizabeth Cabias and Eden Ramento Iha; aunts uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Chapel (47-200 Kahekili Highway, Kaneohe, HI). Visitation will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Eulogy and family remembrances will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by Christian prayers at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be a 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Family requests casual attire. Flowers are welcome.
