Jessica "Jessi" Bernadette Kitajima's Obituary
Jessica “Jessi” Bernadette Kitajima, 68, of Pearl City, Hawaii passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her residence. She was the fourth of five children born to Joaquin Buendia Arlos and Felecidad Zapra in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 8, 1948 at the Kapiolani Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.
She was a graduate of Governor Wallace Rider Farrington High School located in the heart of Kalihi.
Married to the love of her life, John Kitajima on December 7, 1968 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She raised her granddaughter, Jasmin Del Rosario-Kitajima whom she was very close to and treasured her as well as all her grandchildren. Moments that will be everlasting in her life were the birth of her children and the marriage to her husband. Jessi enjoyed bowling, and was part of multiple bowling leagues. One of her favorite songs was “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones.
Jessi will be known as an achiever, happy, kind, and loving person. She will be tremendously missed by all who came into her life.
