In our 41 years together, we rarely had an argument. Joan taught me to love everyone no matter what. She also loved animals, especially cats. We fed outside cats daily for decades! Joan was a talented jewelry designer; we became regular jewelry vendors in Waianae and Kapolei on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I am grateful for having been with such a wonderful person as Joan.
I remember a day,when I was visiting Mom just before Covid hit.They fixed up a cot out on the lenai in other words balcony 😁It was so peaceful sleeping out there and the sounds of the water and waves!So on to the story,Mom and I went for a walk up and down the beach from where she lives,checking out all the beautiful things on the beach and seeing some turtles!!!! I had at the time still smoked cigarettes and I had rolled up a bunch,I mean like a pack of joints in a cigarette pack,so I knew she had smoked pot awhile ago so I smoked a joint with my Mom on the beach in Hawaii ♥️🙏
