John Emmanuel Capanas' Obituary
John Emmanuel Capanas, a resident of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on Thursday January 19, 2017. John was born to Paula (Feleciano) and Juan Capanas in Kahuku, Hawaii on May 7, 1924. He was 92 years old. John retired as a Mail Carrier for the Federal Government for many years.
John is survived by his Son, Anthony Capanas; Daughters, Paula Anne Ignacio and Kathleen Sherrell; Sister, Florence Baxter; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his Beloved Wife, Phyllis Capanas.
Services for John will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kailua; visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.; Eulogy at 10:30 a.m.; Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
