JOHN DOMINGUES, 78 years old, passed away peacefully in Kaneohe on September 3, 2012. He is survived by his sons, Michael John Domingues and David Roy Domingues; daughter, Joni Christine Domingues; brother Benny (Lillian) Ebalei; sisters, Amy “Imi” Abulon, Elizabeth Yamashita, and Josephine “Tita” (Adolpho) Orosco; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his father, Florencio Domingues; mother, Eva Kealoha; brothers, James Domingues, Henry Domingues, Domingo “Bla” Domingues, and Felix “Dong” Domingues; and beloved grandson, Jacob Judah Curran.“Uncle Johnny” or “Box” was born on September 20, 1933 in Kahana, Hawaii. He was a graduate of Kahuku High School and proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and in the Reserves. He was retired from the State of Hawaii, Adult Mental Health Division, as a Licensed Practical Nurse after many years of faithful service.Memorial service on October 5, 2012, at Hawaiian Memorial Park. 10 a.m. visitation, 11 a.m. service, 2 p.m. inurnment at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Scattering of remaining ashes at Kahana Bay at a later date.Casual Attire.
