Jonathan Kam's Obituary
Jon was a Kaneohe boy who attended ‘Iolani School and was awarded a National Merit Scholarship to the University of Southern California (USC). He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Business.
Jon had a simple list of things he enjoyed, but he pursued each with a passion. At the top of this list was his love for the LA Clippers. He was a long-time season ticket holder and even a one-time unofficial intern. Jon was also a big fan of Star Wars, mango-flavored items, and USC.
He was the baby of the family and always wore a big smile on his face. It was this same smile that his friends remember – along with his generosity and caring nature.
He enjoyed indulging his child-at-heart with his nephew, Camden, sharing countless discussions of Pokemon and gaming.
Jon recently got engaged to the love of his life, Alice, and looked forward to wedding planning and starting their life together with their dog, Potato.
He is survived by his parents, Alan and Sandra; brother, Chris; sister, Jana-Lynn (Tim Dang); Camden; Alice; and Potato.
A celebration of Jon’s life will be held on August 12, 2023 at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park (Main Chapel) from 11:00 am-3:00 pm.
