Jose M. Gosiaco's Obituary
Jose Monares Gosiaco, 85, of Waimanalo, Hawaii passed away at home on March 18, 2017. Jose was born to Eusebia Villavencio (Monares) and Gregorio Santa Ana Gosiaco in Pavia, Iloilo, Philippines on July 23, 1931.
Jose was a retired nuclear inspector for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and a United States Army Veteran.
Jose is survived by his wife, Caridad I. Gosiaco; children, Ronald I. (Teri) Gosiaco, Elaine G. (Alika) Eckart, David I. (Gabriela) Gosiaco and daughter-in-law, Lisa Gosiaco (wife of the late Michael I. Gosiaco); 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Cesar Gosiaco; and sister, Angelina G. Palacios.
Celebration of life and funeral service for Jose will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. George Catholic Church; visitation from 8:15 – 8:50 a.m., eulogy at 8:50 a.m., Mass to begin at 9:00 a.m., with Committal service to follow 11:00 a.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
