Joseph "Brother" Williams' Obituary
Joseph "Brother" Williams of Honolulu, passed away on March 30, 2015. Born October 12, 1925, he was the son of Mae Vivian Kum Yung Lee and John Marcellino. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He worked at the Board of Water Supply for over 30 years in the meter department as a repair supervisor. He married Joan Lei Kaupiko and raised daughter, Alrene "Renie" Namakahelu. He was a hard working handy man with many talents, including his famous portrait and landscaping paintings that he once sold outside of the Honolulu Zoo fence on the weekends.
He is survived by his hanai mother, Rene Lee; brother Jimmy Lee; sister, Rosie; son in law, Sa'afiga; grandchildren, Sa'afiga Jr., Summer and Crimson; great grandchildren, Penina, Avaletalia, Viliamu, Sunshyne and Moriah Rene.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20th at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, with viewing to begin at 10:30 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m. and burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Family requests Aloha attire. Please join us in celebrating "Brothers" life.
