Joseph Hellia "Pops" Berinobis, of Kaneohe, passed away February 15, 2012 in Kailua. He was born in Kahalu'u, Oahu. He retired from Matson Terminals, as a Senior Superintendent of Operations and coached Castle High School for many years. He is survived by wife, Juliana "Julie" Berinobis; daughters, Joanna Berinobis (Vicente) Cabalse and Josanna "Sani Girl" Berinobis; sons, Joanna (Patricia), Joseph Lyman (Diana) and Jason (Georgene) Berinobis; brothers, Julian (Jean) Berinobis, Clifford (Sally) Berinobis, Joseph (Adrienne) Pantastico, Morris Pantastico, Tito (Shari) Berinobis, Samuel (Karen) Berinobis, Wade (Lorene) Berinobis, Francis (Lisa) Berinobis and Daniel Berinobis; sisters, Gladys Berinobis, Mililani "Millie" (David) Wallace, Jane Kihewa, Laverne (Lui) Tangaro, Virginia (Kent) Tamura and Diana (Curtis) Vandeloop; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
