Joseph Feleti Ma'ae's Obituary
A Joyful Tribute to Joseph Feleti Ma'ae
November 12th, 1989 – May 24th, 2026
We celebrate the beautiful life of Joseph Feleti Ma'ae, born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 12th, 1989 and passing there on May 24th, 2026. Joseph’s journey was marked by kindness, compassion, hard work, confidence, and steady support for those around him.
"Jobie" as he was affectionately known as was a Call Center Agent at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Colleagues recall how he would often stay on the line a little longer with grieving callers, making sure they felt truly heard and comforted. His gentle reassurance and genuine empathy helped countless families navigate difficult moments, and his team credits him with setting a standard of care that will endure long after his passing.
Beyond work, Joseph found joy in being there for his seven nieces and nephews.
His kind and supportive nature showed in every conversation and action with those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Joseph is survived by his mother Joann Maae, father Afia Maae, brother Joshua Maae, sister-in-law Shantel Maae, and seven nieces and nephews. Their memories of time together will keep his story alive.
We close by celebrating Joseph’s life and the lasting impression of his kindness, compassion, hard work, confidence, and support. May these bright reflections guide and encourage us in the days ahead.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 4-8pm at Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel.
