Josephine Tugaoen Matutino's Obituary
Josephine "Jo" Tugaoen Matutino, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, passed away July 22, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center. Born in North Hilo to parents Doroteo Tugaoen and Mary Dailon Tugaoen, Jo was a retired housekeeper at the former Makaha Inn, and a long-time member of the Visayan Club in Waipahu. She was predeceased by her husband Sylvester Matutino and daughter, Charmaine Cagata.
She is survived by sons, Paul (Mara) Alferez and Michael (Marlene) Matutino; daughter, Nancy Pacheco; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Esmenio and Benji Tugaoen; sister, Laudis Kepo'o.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Prayer service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
