JOSEPHINE HOKUTAN PONCE, 87, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away on November 9, 2019 in Aiea. She was born in Puunene, Maui.
She is survived by son, Laurence (Verna) Ponce; daughter Emelie (Cesar) Malicad; brother, Alfredo (Donna) Hokutan; sister, Maria S. Hokutan Amanonce; Grandchildren Kawehi (Brooke) Ponce, Keala (Michael) Fisher, Johanna (Folau) Finau, Rachel Ponce, Caitlyn and Cristina Malicad; Great-Grandchildren Ilikea, Jordan, Kianna, Elijah, Gabriel, Bri, Genesis, Zhaeden, JR, Legend, Silas and Brixcyn; Great-Great Grandchild Kuu.
Predeceased by her mother, Teresa Saludares Hokutan; father, Silvino Palabay Hokutan; brothers, Abraham Saludares Gaspar, Ricarte Saludares Gaspar, Joaquin S. Ballesteros, Jose S. Hokutan; sisters, Rosalina S. Ballesteros Espiritu, Dolores S. Hokutan Corpus.
Visitation will be 5:30 pm Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Valley of the Temples and Prayer service at 6:30 pm.
Visitation will be 11:00 am Thursday December 12, 2019 at St. St. Elizabeth Church, (99-312 Moanalua Rd, Aiea). Mass at 12:00 pm. Burial 2:00 pm at Valley of the Temples.
Casual attire, flowers welcome.
