Juana Cardona Queja's Obituary
Juana Cardona Queja, 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away January 24, 2017 at her home in Pearl City. Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Valentin Cardona and Maria Cadiz Cardona, Juana was a retired presser for Young Laundry in Honolulu. Juana was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roque, Roman, Carmelo and Pedro Cardona; sisters, Calixta Reginaldo, Remigia Bonoan, Eugenia Tangonan and Agustina Cardona.
She is survived by husband, Amado "Pedro" Queja; son, Roger (Joann) Queja; daughters, Nelia Queja-Nguyen; Mila (Mike) Wright, Janet (Ren) Ilog and Evangeline (Kyle) Kaiura; brothers, Mariano Cardona and Romulo Cardona; sisters, Teodora Mendoza and Cristina Sahagon; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wake services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.; Prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m.
Additional services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1525 Waimano Home Road, Pearl City, HI 96782. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
