Juanita Gemeno's Obituary
Beloved Mother and Peace Keeper
Family and friends gather in spirit to remember a woman whose steady patience and gentle compassion guided every day at home. Her six children knew her first as the one who listened, soothed, and made each of them feel safe.
She is survived by her daughter Ella Mann and her sons Salvador “Bully” Gemeno, Wayne Gemeno, Calvin Gemeno, Paul Gemeno, and Timothy Gemeno. Each of them carries a different story of how her supportive nature shaped their lives, yet all agree she was the heart that kept them close.
Cooking filled her kitchen with comforting aromas, and family meals often started with something she had reeled in on a fishing trip earlier that morning. Outdoors she felt free, whether casting a line or tending to the orchids she grew with a sure green thumb.
Those who loved her admire the way kindness, empathy, and compassion seemed to come as naturally to her as breathing. Even in busy moments she stayed patient, always ready with a warm meal or a quiet word that turned tension into peace.
Her legacy lives on whenever her family meets around a table, passes along a favorite recipe, or pauses to admire a blooming orchid. We will keep her close in these everyday moments and honor the calm strength she gave us.
