She is survived by her daughter Ella Mann and her sons Salvador “Bully” Gemeno, Wayne Gemeno, Calvin Gemeno, Paul Gemeno, and Timothy Gemeno. Each of them carries a different story of how her supportive nature shaped their lives, yet all agree she was the heart that kept them close.
Cooking filled her kitchen with comforting aromas, and family meals often started with something she had reeled in on a fishing trip earlier that morning. Outdoors she felt free, whether casting a line or tending to the orchids she grew with a sure green thumb.
