Juevetinia Das “Herby” Ponce, 84, of Kea’au, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at home. She was born in Hilo and retired as an In-flight service worker for Sky Chef in Honolulu . Celebration of Life will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe on Tuesday, January 20,2015. Visitation at 5:30pm , service at 7:00pm. Burial will be at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She is survived by her sons Antonio Ponce Jr. of Texas and Blair (Debra) Ponce of Kea’au; daughters Natalie Ponce of Kea’au, Wendy Ponce of Las Vegas and Geri (Scott) Ponce- Rickards of Oregon; sister Mercy Viernes of Kea’au; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
