Juliana A. Berinobis' Obituary
Juliana A. Berinobis, 82, of Waianae, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the sixth of 11th child born to Macario Adversalo and Margarita Ayay Pascua on August 10, 1933 in Koolauloa, Kahuku, Oahu. She was a retired presser with American Linen.
She attended Ben Parker School, and both Waialua and Kahuku High School.
She lived in Waialua, Kahuku, Kahalu’u, Kaneohe, and Waianae.
She was married to Joseph Hellia Berinobis on July 7, 1951. She was a member of Parker Methodist Church and His Highest Praise in Kaneohe.
She was involved with the Fil-Am Bowling League and was the Secretary-Treasurer for the Windward Bowl Leagues.
The important events in her life were the births of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special events.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, spending time with her family. She was truly involved with church and her grandchildren. She enjoyed her plants and her dogs.
She loved listening to Oldies, Christian and Hawaiian music. She also enjoyed reading the book of Proverbs.
She was a virtuous, loving, graceful, giving, funny, lovable woman who we will truly miss. Mom was our Rock, Mentor and Loving Mom!!
She is survived by sons, Jonathan (Patricia) Berinobis, Joseph (Diana) Lyman, Jason (Georgene) Berinobis and Joby Berinobis; daughters, Joanna (Vicente) Cabalse and Josanna “Sani Girl” Berinobis; brothers, Melton Adversalo, Angel Adversalo and David Adversalo; sisters, Erlinda “Linda” Donelson, Esmenia “Betty” Dela Cruz and Priscilla “Jane” Dela Cruz; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Berinobis will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii); Visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
