Juliana "Koly" Bonilla Tungpalan
was born on July 20, 1931 in Brgy. 22 San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was the daughter of Romualdo U. Bonilla (deceased) & Cipriana B. Bonilla (deceased). She was married to Prudencio Ulep Tungpalan (deceased) and had 3 children Maria Lourdes Tungpalan
Gulliermo (Rodolfo Gulliermo-deceased), Emmanuel Tungpalan (Adela G. Tungpalan), and Florida T. Quiambao (Eduardo M. Quiambao). She was the 4th oldest of 8 siblings, her siblings are Savera B. Bonilla (deceased), Hipolito B. Bonilla (deceased) (Dionesia S.
Bonilla-deceased), Candida B. Ramos (deceased) (Sofio B. Ramos-deceased), Mariano B. Bonilla (deceased) (Carmelita B. Bonilla), Valerio B. Bonilla (deceased) (Felicitas D. Bonilla), Agapito B. Bonilla (deceased), and Francio B. Bonilla (Judith D. Bonilla).
Juliana is also survived with 3 grandchildren Jasmine Tungpalan, Moises Tungpalan, and Frederick T. Quiambao and 6 great-grandchildren Angel Erika Tungpalan, Christian Rafael Agcaoili, Bea Nicole Baloran, Erwin Baloran Jr., Princess Pamela Tungpalan, and Reina
Loiuse Tungpalan. In June 1984, Juliana & Prudencio came to Hawaii and lived in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1985 she started working as a janitorial worker at HBM (Hawaii Building Maintenance) until 1992, then she continued doing private housekeeping from
1992-2014. The morning of Monday April 20, 2020 Juliana passed away in her residence in Kalihi peacefully. We will truly miss Juliana as a beloved mother, sister, grandma, and aunty. Rest In Peace Nana we love and miss you.
