Junius Kwan Wong, III, 77 of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on July 1, 2026. He was born on November 9, 1948 in Honolulu. He retired as a Foreman for the City & County of Honolulu and was a Veteran with the United State Navy.
Junius enjoyed the ocean loved to fish and dive for tako. He had a love for Hawaiian music. Played with a group called Hoopili and various music enthusiasts. He comes from a long line of entertainers and was a slack key master in his own right. Junius will always be remembered for his music and the love he had for people. Helping strangers, the hitchhiker who needed a ride in the rain. To friends and family needing a place to stay. A Coach teaching the fundamentals of life, to his children and grandchildren preparing them for the cruel world.
Junius is survived by his Wife: Candace Wong; Children: Robin Wong, Emi Alapai, Kaua Kaeo, Junius Wong, IV; Grandchildren: Kapoli Wong, Shon Watanabe, Kaylee Watanabe, (Che) Bernard Kaeo IV, (Paka) Pierce Kaeo, Lima Alapai, Daisy-Blue Alapai, Leomana Alapai and (Nama's) Leimana Alapai.
