Kahala Kanoa's Obituary
Kahala ‘Hala’ Pauline Puanalani (Bush) Kanoa of Waimanalo resided in Ewa Beach passed away at the age of 44 on January 4th, 2019. She is survived by her ‘Rainbow’ Christopher Bessert, Mother Althea ‘Gummy’ Bush, Sister Shelsa ‘Chacha’ Bush (Taylor), Brother Clint Bush (Grace) (Lexan Xander Bush), children Pumehana Kanoa-Doctorello Ka’iama (Ali’iloa), Ikaikamaikalani Kanoa-Doctorello, David Echols and Honesty ‘Boogy’ Kanoa, grandchildren Lahkai Flores-Kanoa, Kaisen Bastatas-Kanoa, Kymani Santiago, Tave Ka’iama, Je T’aime Santiago and Kaiyus Bastatas-Kanoa, many nieces and nephews, many Hanai brothers and sisters, and many Hanai children. Hala was known for her contagious smile, welcoming personality and her heart of gold. She was the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, mama, cousin, aunty and friend anyone could ask for. She was always there when someone needed her. Hala made a large impact during her short time here and will be missed by many. Although we’re saddened at her passing, we find comfort knowing she’s Dancing In The Sky with her ‘Forever Heartbeat’. She was and will always be our beautiful ‘Yaya’. Family and friends may come on Saturday February 9th, 2019 from 9:00-11:30am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Waimanalo Ward (41-972 ‘Olu’olu St) Waimanalo, services at 11:30am.
