Kalani Mito Cervantes' Obituary
Kalani Mito Cervantes (aka Joseph Cervantes), 89, of Kailua passed away July 12, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He served as an Army paratrooper in World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a ceramic tile setter from the Masons Union Local 1, and was a small business owner of Kalani's Tile. Kalani was preceded in death by his brothers, Alex, Edward and Louis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Cheryl (Ed) , Jamie, Carroll. Deborah (Junior) and Pattie; sons, Kalani, Gilmore and Kevin (Evette); 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vera, Rachel and Dora; brothers, Alex, Edward and Louis
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (920 Keolu Drive, Enchanted Lake, Kailua). Service at 11:00 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
