Karlton "Kalei" Borges' Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Karlton “Kalei” Borges, born on April 19, 1961 in Honolulu. His parents are John and Esther Borges. He was the eldest of 3 children. Attended St. Louis High School Class of 1979, after graduation he began a career as a driver/laborer with the City and County of Honolulu, and also a Dispatcher with the Honolulu Police Department. He was involved in St. Louis Alumni Association and Windward Surfcasting Club. He was an ardent fisherman and diver, and enjoyed Hawaiian Music.
Survived by parents, John and Esther Borges; sisters, Noreen (Elliot) Mattos and Janna (Antonio) Insillio; nieces and nephews, Erin (Shane) Mattos Harrel, Conner Mattos, Tyler Maile Insillio and Keola Teves.
Visitation: 10:30-11:30a.m., Monday February 2, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service at 11:30a.m.; with inurnment to follow 2:00p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
