Kathleen Kaoru Hee's Obituary
Kathleen Kaoru Hee, a resident of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on January 11, 2017. Kathleen was born to Yoshiko (Yahiku) and Masamu Hamamura in Lihue, Kauai on November 2, 1947 and was raised on Koloa, Kauai. She was 69 years old. Kathleen was a retired secretary.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Randall) Okimoto; son, Derek (Christie) Hee; brother, Earl Hamamura; sister, Lenora (Reginald) Shin and four grandchildren; Skyler Hee, Kiara Hee, Mayah Okimoto and Elliot Okimoto.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Hee and brother, Lloyd Hamamura.
Celebration of Life service for Kathleen will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Burial to be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter.
