Keawe Rillamas' Obituary
Keawe Mamane Rillamas, 82, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born in Koolauloa, Hawaii, he led a remarkable life filled with service, community, and passion.
Keawe served in the Army National Guard, dedicating himself to protecting his country. After his military service, he transitioned to a different kind of service as a retirement community resident manager. His kindness and patience endeared him to everyone he encountered.
An avid outdoorsman, Keawe found joy in fishing, golfing, and all athletic pursuits. His love for animals extended to his cherished chickens, and he also enjoyed the thrill of gambling.
Keawe is survived by his two sons, Keawe Jr. and Kenneth. His large and loving family includes siblings Julie Ann (Manuel), Melinda (Vaughn), Rita May (Pane), Cleopatra, Georgina, Edith, Peal, Edwin, Michael, Darris, Lathem, and Wendell.
In celebrating Keawe’s life, we remember his gentle spirit, unwavering patience, and the impact he had on those around him. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the community he served so faithfully. May he rest in peace
