Dear Family and Friends, This year 2021, was a sad year for Keiths' family and friends/. Keith made his journey home to heaven. I had a soothing dream the night of his passing. I dreamt that our brother Kendall (his older brother who had previously passed), stopped to visit me and was sitting in his flight suit on the bottom of my bed. I awoke feeling his presence and he gave me a very warm hug. Shortly after his visit, I saw both Kendall and Keith fly by me in the T-6 (that Kendall had flown for an organization as a pilot) It was easy to see their joyuous faces through the large canopy on the old World War II trainer. I am sure their destination was heaven.
Keith lived a great and fulfilling life. In his early years he lived a life of service while studying to become a priest in the Holy Order of Mans, a Christian ministry. He studied philosophy and loved learning about all eastern and western teachings. He seemed to always have a great wisdom for his age. In addition he studied astrology and I believe he used this as a tool to engage people in order to help guide them with his spiritual depth and wisdom.
Keith took a sebatical from the Holy Order for a year and went to Norway to meet his Norwegian family and immersed himself in the culture. He even worked as a chef on an oil rig in the North Sea. He later used this knowledge to work as a cook in homeless shelters.
Keith learned how to fly at 31 yrs old. I had the honor to introduce him to the air and take him through his first solo during his short visit with me in Albuquerque NM. He continued his flying and paying his way through training as a master upholsterer, a trade he learned while doing service in his ministry. His final landing was in Guam on his retirement flight as a Captain for Continental United Airlines. He was a Captain in the Boeing 737-800. He had previously been a Captain for Britt flying the French Embraer and copilot in the Boeing 727 for Continental Airlines.
Keith made his home in Honolulu Hawaii for his last 20 years and shared his life with companion Tami Adams and her son John (who was 10 at the time). they shared their love of the ocean and both lived on the water. Keith had a boat for many years and they loved diving and spotting turtles and magnificent wildlife that can be seen in the Pacific.
Keith passed away on Sept 14th, 2021 and we had a beautiful memorial on November 14th in Hawaii, where his ashes were spread Hawaiian style off a boat in one of his favorite ocean spots. His dog Napua's ashes were also spread alongside. My brother Kirk and I and nephews, Kristofer and Kendall also were able to attend.
I will miss Keith everyday and knowing he would always answer his phone and keep in touch but now I have to use the highest speed internet to God's house.....which seems to be working pretty well.
Love Keiths sister,
Kristen
