Kenneth "Ken" Kentaro Tanaka's Obituary
Kenneth “Ken” Kentaro Tanaka of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Aloha Nursing and Rehab Centre in Kaneohe. He was 91 years old. Born to Masaichiro Tanaka and Toshio Shimoda in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 10, 1925. He was a retired mason, he was employed with N. Nagata Inc. and was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by wife, Jean Tanaka; son, Milton Tanaka; daughter, Jo Anne Tanaka; sister, Harriet Miyamoto; Daughter-in-law, Linda Tanaka and three grandchildren, Matthew Tanaka, Meredith Fonts, and Kenny Libbon.
Visitation 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel; Buddhist Service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors to be rendered at committal shelter.
