Lambert K. Naihe's Obituary
Lambert Kaahaaina Naihe, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born July 15, 1958, to Winifred and Leonard Naihe. Lambert met the love of his life in college and they married in 1984. They celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. He was known as Mr. Aloha for his kindness, care for others, humble demeanor, and love.
Lambert was a dedicated employee of Hawaiian Airlines, where he spent 38 years contributing to the growth and success of the company. His work ethic and commitment to his career left a lasting impression on his colleagues and all those fortunate enough to work alongside him.
Lambert was passionate about surfing and dedicated much of his time serving the community through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Boy Scouts of America. His involvement in the Church and Scouting was a testament to his selflessness, shaping the lives of many young individuals, and instilling values of leadership, respect, charity, and love of God.
Lambert was a man of generosity, always giving of his time and resources to those in need. His charitable spirit was one of his defining qualities, and his contributions to others were countless and immeasurable.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Naihe, and their four children and their families: Alana and her children, Ryan, Isaac, Robert, and Khloe; Lambert Kawananakoa and his wife Naomi and their child Maile; Jacob and his wife Clari and their child Kamalani; and Jordan. Lambert’s legacy lives on through his family, who will forever cherish the memories of his love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Lambert’s life will be honored with a celebration of life at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Keolu. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. and service to begin at 11:30 a.m. There will be a burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. All are welcome to join his family and friends.
His love for the ocean, his family, and his community will never be forgotten. His memory, love, and legacy will live on forever.
