Lanumeamata Maiava's Obituary
Lanumeamata Maiava, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away March 20, 2018 in Honolulu. Born on August 5, 1932 in Lauli'i, American Samoa to parents Semi Semi and Tu'uaina Na'a, she was a loving and dedicated homemaker to her family.
She is survived by 5 sons, Maligi (Moani) Telefoni, Telekalafi Maiava, Faaloloi (Kainoa) Maiava, Pese (Emma) Maiava, Jr. and Semi (Rachelani) Maiava; 3 daughters, Sina (Tusifolau) Tuialuuluu, Tuuaifua (James) Winters and Luanuu (Carlos) Lopez-Maiava; 28 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
