Laureano Nacar Navalta's Obituary
Laureano Nacar Navalta, born on July 2, 1925, in Luna, La Union, Philippines, has joined his Creator on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Kaneohe, Hawaii, at the age of 99.
He was a plants nursery worker in Waimanalo from 1986 and retired from Kailua Nursery in early 2000. Laureano was a beloved father and grandfather to his children because of his kindness, generosity, and warm affection.
He is survived by his children, Marcelina Casem, Lydia (Santos) Julaton, Danilo, Reynaldo (Cecilia), Nestor (Rosaly), Cesar (Mercy), and Manuel (Shella): seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother Ramon and sister-in-law Trifina; and many, many friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025, 4:00pm at Valley of the Temples Main Chapel. Services to be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, 10:00am at St. Anns Catholic Church in Kaneohe. Burial is 2:00pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park – Holy Cross.
