Laurie Ann Fase's Obituary
Laurie Ann Fase, 56, of Honolulu, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at her residence. Laurie was the third of six children born to Lionel Molina and Lovina Joyce Villanueva in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 28, 1959.
Laurie was a medical assistant for Dr. Kenneth Ing, and in the medical records department as a coder for the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu for the last 20 years.
Laurie lived in various locations on the island of Oahu, such places as; Nanakuli, Pauoa, Nuuanu and then finally making a permanent move to Manoa Valley in Honolulu.
She was married to John “Michael” Fase on May 29, 1982 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Pauoa. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.
Laurie loved her family whole heartedly, and loved life just as much. She enjoyed spending time with her co-workers, friends, family and especially her grandchildren who she simply adored.
Laurie was a woman who was generous, loving, caring and fun. She will be dearly missed by many people, but she’ll be flying like an angel, watching us with her beautiful smile.
Laurie is survived by her husband and best friend, John Michael Fase; sons, James Mika‘ele Fase, Lionel Kaliko Fase, Michael Manoa Fase and Tyler Keanu Fase; step-mother, Thelma Molina; brothers, Leonard Molina and Lon Molina; sister, Lovina Albritton and four grandchildren, Austin, Jaylie, Ascher and Emerie.
Celebration of Life service for Laurie will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at: 10:30 a.m. with inurnment to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
